Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: June 21, 2025
Welcome to Kāholo Manufacturing Co. (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any services offered through it, including our custom manufacturing services based in Hawaiʻi. By accessing or using our site or submitting any form, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Services Overview
Kāholo Manufacturing Co. provides custom apparel manufacturing services for businesses and brands. Our services include pattern making, sample development, production, and limited consulting related to fabric sourcing and brand manufacturing.
All services are subject to availability and a formal agreement or estimate provided upon reviewing your submitted project inquiry.
Getting Started
To begin production:
-
You must submit an initial inquiry through our website.
-
We will follow up with a detailed questionnaire to better understand your needs.
-
If you already have patterns, tech packs, or samples, we can expedite the process.
-
Production begins only after patterns are finalized and all materials (fabrics, labels, trims) are received and approved.
Minimum order quantities (MOQs) apply. For most projects, our MOQ is 100 units per style.
Turnaround Time
Estimated timelines are:
-
Sample Development: 6–8 weeks
-
Production: 3–4 months (starting once all materials are in-house)
These timelines may shift based on your project's complexity and our current production schedule. We will do our best to communicate any delays or updates.
Materials & Shipping
Customers are responsible for shipping their materials (fabrics, labels, etc.) to our facility in Honolulu, Hawai‘i. We do not store large quantities of materials due to limited space. Any excess material must be picked up or shipped back within 30 days of project completion.
Shipping fees to and from our studio are the responsibility of the client. We are not liable for any shipping delays or damages caused by third-party carriers.
Payments & Estimates
We will provide a cost estimate for pattern making, samples, and production after receiving your project details. A deposit is required to begin pattern development or sampling. Full payment must be made before production begins unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
All payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, due to the custom nature of our services.
Cancellations & Refunds
Due to the highly customized and made-to-order nature of our services, we do not offer refunds once production has started. Cancellations must be made in writing before any physical work begins and may be subject to administrative fees.
Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of your original designs and any proprietary information shared with us.
Kāholo Manufacturing Co. retains ownership of:
-
Any proprietary pattern blocks or templates we create independently
